Headteacher's Welcome
Welcome to Inglehurst Infant School — a place where every child is known, valued and encouraged to shine. Whether you are a current parent, a prospective family or simply exploring our website, we are delighted to share a little of what makes our school such a special community.
At Inglehurst, children aged three to seven learn and grow in a warm, nurturing and inclusive environment. We build strong foundations for learning through rich experiences, high‑quality teaching and a curriculum that supports the whole child — their curiosity, confidence, wellbeing and sense of belonging. Our approach is strengthened by our focus on personal development and early language development, helping children to feel secure, supported and ready for the next stage of their education.
We are proud of the strong relationships we build with families. Throughout the year, we welcome parents and carers into school for coffee mornings, themed workshops (such as sleep, wellbeing and reading), phonics observations, family book time, charity events and performances. These shared experiences help us work together to give every child the very best start.
The best way to experience our school is to visit in person. We would love to show you around and introduce you to our wonderful children and staff. Please contact the school office to arrange a visit — we look forward to meeting you.
