InglehurstInfant School

Ethos

At Inglehurst Infant School, our ethos is centred on nurturing and inspiring happy, healthy, confident, life-long learners. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming, caring, and safe environment where everyone feels valued and respected. Our curriculum is designed to build the necessary skills and knowledge for pupils to achieve high standards and develop a life-long love of learning.

We prioritise understanding each child as an individual, discovering what motivates and inspires them, and addressing their unique learning needs. Our goal is to raise aspirations and instil the belief that with ambition and determination, every child has the potential to achieve great things. We aim for all pupils to become confident, healthy, and caring individuals who appreciate and respect the differences that make everyone unique.

Building strong relationships with families is crucial to us, as we believe that collaboration between parents, carers, and school staff benefits everyone. We know that a child’s success in school is greatly enhanced when parents and carers are involved in their learning journey, creating a supportive team around each child.

Inglehurst Infant School is an inclusive community that values the unique contributions of all children. We believe that diverse groups of children working together enrich the learning experience for everyone. By understanding the needs of our children and their families, we strive to break down barriers to learning and provide the necessary support for all to thrive.

Our commitment to high expectations and compliance with the Equality Act 2010 and the Special Educational Needs and Disability Regulations 2014 ensures that our curriculum is accessible and beneficial for all pupils.
